Modul Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Mahasiswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) tentang pencemaran sampah di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Supit Urang, Malang, dengan fokus meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa biologi. Dalam konteks pendidikan abad ke-21, keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi kunci utama, namun data Program for Indonesia Student Assessment (PISA) menunjukkan rendahnya penguasaan keterampilan tersebut di Indonesia. Model ADI dipilih karena mendorong peserta didik untuk melakukan penelitian, menyajikan argumen ilmiah, dan membuat pembelajaran lebih kontekstual. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 kelas, yaitu kelas yang diajarkan dengan modul ADI, model ADI, dan power point. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa yang menggunakan modul ADI, dibandingkan dengan model ADI dan PowerPoint. Meskipun dilaksanakan secara daring, modul ADI efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan menyajikan materi pencemaran sampah dari TPA Supit Urang Malang secara kontekstual. Penerapan modul ADI dapat menjadi solusi untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran dan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.
